She is the founder of the nonprofit organization Red Door Empowerment, and CEO of Frances Bailey Enterprises, LLC. Additionally, she is a member of the Board of Directors for the Eastern Shore Center for Independent Living.

Her organizational memberships include: Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated; National Society of Leadership and Success; Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society; and ACHI Women Supporting Women Association, Inc. She has been awarded the “Iconic Woman” award, and has been a Virginia nominee for the National ACHI Magazine “Woman on the Rise” and “Community Leader of the Year” awards.
