Lourdes Charles

Lourdes Charles is employed as a Spanish bi-lingual substance abuse therapist and is a licensed master social worker in New York. She obtained a Master’s degree from Adelphi University and credits Jesus Christ for opening the doors for her education and giving her the strength while working full time.

Lourdes’ goal is to equip individuals with the knowledge they need to prevent abuse by rejecting it from others and avoiding behaviors that are self-inflicted. She is certified in anger management and trained in domestic violence prevention education.

She enjoys the relationship with her parents, four brothers, nieces, and nephews and is a loving mother and grandmother to her growing family.

As a member of Christ Church International Church, she identifies her life work with the scripture Luke 4:18:

The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free.
